Over the course of the semester, you will be asked to share your informal reflections about our reading and discussion in an online forum, and to respond to the thoughts of other students.
Starting in the third week of class, I’ll post a Reading Diary thread on the course webpage each week. Once that’s live, you can begin to share your thoughts about the reading. This Reading Diary is a collective effort: it’s not your private, isolated thoughts, but a communal conversation taking place around the work we’re doing while we’re in class. You can share your initial thoughts, questions, and reactions, but you should also engage with what other students have posted, answer questions, link to relevant resources or points of comparison, and otherwise become part of the dialogue.
We’ll decide as a group how this work will be evaluated; once we’ve made that decision, I’ll post those instructions here!
